Biography

Miss Luo, Yan received her master degree from Florida International University, School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. She is also a doctoral candidate at Tianjin University, School of Management, which is one of the oldest and best universities in China. Currently, she is teaching in Florida International University, School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, and Tianjin Professional College. The courses she has been teaching include Human Resource Management in Hospitality Industry, Organization and Behavior, Food and Beverage Operation, Introduction to Hospitality management, Tourism English, Hotel English, etc..

Miss Luo also has been holding and extending her working experience in the hospitality Industry, including Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, Miami; Holiday Inn Golden Glade, North Miami; Renaissance Tianjin Teda Hotel, Tianjin; and Holiday Inn Binhai Hotel, Tianjin. These working experiences are helpful for making her classes more industry-related and updated.

In addition to teach undergraduate students courses, she also engages in doing researches related to Human resource management in hospitality industry, international marketing, diversity workforce in hospitality industry, etc.. and has several related academic papers published.
