Courses Offered and Course DescriptionHFT 3503 HFT 3210 BiographyMr. Cheng received his master degree from New York University , the Preston Robert Tish Center for Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management. He also completed his bachelor degree in New York Institute of Technology, Hospitality Management. Currently, he is an adjunct lecturer, research assistant and doctoral candidate at Florida International University , School of Hospitality & Tourism Management and College of Business Administration . Mr. Cheng has ample working experience in the hospitality Industry, including Sheraton Laguardia East Hotel , New York ; Crowne Plaza Manhattan Hotel , New York ; Imperial Intercontinental Hotel , Taiwan ; The D.C. Club, Taiwan , and Hotel Royal Chilpen Spa, Taiwan . He served as sales and marketing manager, restaurant manager, executive office manager, front office assistant manager, and personal assistant to the group chairman. These various working experiences will enhance the dynamic courses and lead students into the global hospitality world. He currently engages in research on numerous topics related to hospitality organizational behavior, international hospitality business, and hospitality strategic management. He is a member of the Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (C.H.R.I.E.), member of the Academy of Management , and member of the Academy of International Business .
