Feasibility Studies for the Hospitality Industry
In-depth study of the tools and techniques available for evaluating financial feasibility of a hospitality investment. Feasibility study required.

Biography

Gregory T. Bohan is the  Principal in charge of the South Florida office of Pinnacle Advisory Group, a hospitality consulting firm specializing in hotel feasibility analysis and appraisals. He has 32 years of experience in hospitality consulting.  After graduating from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in 1976, Mr. Bohan was associated for 15 years with two national accounting firms that specialized in hospitality advisory services – Laventhol & Horwath and Pannell Kerr Forster (now PKF Consulting).  He was the Principal in charge of hospitality consulting for Pannell Kerr Forster's New York office from 1985 through 1991 after which he left to open a luxury country inn on a mountaintop in Vermont while, at the same time, continuing his consulting career with Pinnacle Advisory Group out of the Boston practice office.

Mr. Bohan specializes in market feasibility analysis, with an emphasis on resort and conference destinations. He opened the Florida practice office for Pinnacle Advisory Group in December, 2003. Mr. Bohan has published articles in leading industry trade journals and is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants.  He is past-president of both the New York and Philadelphia chapters of the Cornell Hotel Society and also past-president of Les Amis d’Escoffier Foundation in New York City. He teaches “Feasibility Studies for the Hospitality Industry” HFT 6476 at FIU to graduate level students and was formerly on the adjunct faculty at New York University where he taught undergraduates in the Hospitality program.
