COMPUTER SERVICES

The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Computer Lab is used exclusively by Hospitality and Tourism Management students. The computer lab is located on the third floor of the Hospitality Management building and provides a panoramic view of Biscayne Bay and the University Campus through its large floor-to-ceiling windows. The lab consists of 50 Pentium® client workstations hosted by a Dell PowerEdge Domain Controller and File Server. The Servers currently run on a Windows 2003 Server® platform.

The lab also houses a Windows® based Springer-Miller® Property Management System, several stand alone multimedia systems, and four Micros® Point-of-Sale touch screen systems. HM students have access to the Internet, email, color scanners, monochrome laser printers and color laser printers, DVD's, CDRWs and MS Office 2003® applications.
