COMBINED BACHELOR/MASTER OF SCIENCE IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT - 4+1 DEGREE PROGRAM
Current enrollment in the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management at FIU.
Completed at least 90 credit hours of course work with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Students must submit an on-line application to the University Graduate School for admission to the MS program by their first semester of the senior year.

Students enrolled in the BS/MS program may count up to 12 credit hours of graduate courses as credits for both the BS and MS degrees. The courses must be 5000- or 6000-level School of Hospitality and Tourism Management graduate courses. For each of the graduate courses counted as credits for both BS and MS degree, a minimum grade of B is required.

The combined BS/MS program has been designed to be a continuous program. However, upon completion of all the requirements of the undergraduate program, students will receive their BS degrees.
Justification for the Combined BS/MS program
This program is designed for outstanding undergraduate students. This new program allows students to pursue a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management while completing their Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Travel and Tourism Management. Students may take advantage of the overlap of courses in the BS and MS programs. The combines BS/MS program accelerates completion of the Master’s degree into a shorter time period. This program is for the Hospitality Management B.S./M.S. program only.
